Metro Glass Service sucks

Y'know, I try. I needed a new windshield. So I chose to patronize my l
ocally owned, downtown Collinsville, Main Street merchant. Metro Glass Service - what a joke.

First off, the place was a dump, the office gal was totally rude, and it took 2 freakin' days. Worse yet, they did a crappy job! Get a load of this: the weather-stripping was loose, the roof bracket wasn't attached securely (because they broke it), they scratched my fenders, the windshield wipers were out of whack, a two of the 3 bolts holding the shroud under the hood in place were missing! Not only did they do a lousy-ass job, they damaged my car and created dangerous safety issues.

The gal would not set me up an appointment to get the repairs taken care. Finally I had someone else (Martin Glass) fix it. They on the other hand, did a fantastic job!

I reported Metro Glass to the Better Business Bureau, yet I recieved no refund. Today I sent off all of the documentation to my credit card company and hopefully they will be able to credit my account. We will see.

Trying to get the hang of this Blog thing.

Alright, here's the thing. I just sest up a bunch of preferences (settings) this Blogger or BlogSpot or whatever it's called. I think I set it up so some of my friends will receive an email when I do a new post to my site.

Now, I don't know how much I will use this thing... I've got a MySpace account, a Facebook account, a YouTube account, a Linkedin account, a Flickr account, a Photobucket account, and probably a couple others I can't even remember. Plus, I run the website for the World's Largest Catsup Bottle and the annual Catsup Bottle Festival.

I never seem to have any free time to mess around with 'em, and when I do get some free time I'm exhausted and just like to relax and stare at the TV.
I've pretty much lost interest in all of the web stuff lately. So we'll have to see how this goes!

It's June

Well folks, it's June. June the second to be exact.

I was supposed to be taking my daughter, Katie, to the St. Louis Cardinals baseball game tonight. We were going, just the two of us, with her "Straight A Student" free tickets. But, she got a better offer. Her friend Nicolle is having her birthday party in a suite at the game... and just by coincidence, it's the very same night.

Soooo, of course there's "no refund or exchange" on the tix. That means Judy and I will be going and I'll figure out another time when Katie and I will go.

I dunno about this...

Well, I just created this blog. It's the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Beth is home from NYC and she and Judy are having a Sex and the City marathon. UGH.
